After more than 20 years advising companies on intellectual property, I have launched Auito IP Law, PLLC, a federal intellectual property firm based in Tysons (Vienna), Virginia.
Throughout my career, I have worked with companies ranging from startups to established global businesses as they developed new technologies, built brands, grew their businesses, and managed risk. That experience has taught me that effective intellectual property counsel starts with understanding the business.
I launched Auito IP Law to build a firm around that approach: experienced intellectual property counsel that is closely connected to the people and decisions that shape a company. The goal is not simply to protect innovations or brands, but to help clients make sound intellectual property decisions as they grow, invest, and compete.
Many clients have worked with me for years, and some since the beginning of my career. Much of my practice has grown through referrals from clients, colleagues, and other professionals who know my work. That trust is what the firm is built on.
At Auito IP Law, I will continue advising companies on patents, trademarks, licensing, and intellectual property strategy, with the same direct access, practical advice, and business-focused approach that has defined my practice. I am joined by experienced patent attorneys and a trusted network of outside counsel who share that philosophy, and we will build on it as the firm grows.
I am grateful to the clients, colleagues, friends, and family who have supported me throughout my career and during the launch of the firm. We look forward to continuing those relationships and building new ones in the years ahead.
